I am truly excited and honoured to serve as the Principal of Merrickville Public School. Our school is a close-knit and caring community of approximately 140 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6, where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
At Merrickville, we believe that learning extends far beyond academics. We are committed to supporting the growth and development of the whole child by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and mentally. We work hard to foster a strong sense of belonging, encourage student voice, and help our learners build the confidence, resilience, and skills they need for success both in and out of the classroom.
We are also fortunate to be part of a vibrant and supportive community. Throughout the year, students have opportunities to participate in a variety of enriching experiences, leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities, and school-wide events that create lasting memories and strengthen our connections with one another.
Our dedicated staff are passionate about supporting every student and working in partnership with families to ensure a positive and successful school experience. Strong relationships between home and school are essential, and we value open communication and collaboration with our families.
